This short film sets out to explore what inspires the work of glass artist, Adele Christensen. Her attunement to the intricate make-up of the natural environment allows her work to take inspiration from an array of lights, colours and textures that may often go unnoticed. In particular, her work plays with the transient nature of these three inconstant elements which seem to be ever changing in form and appearance as they battle against wet and dry, rain and sun. Her glass work is able to capture this inconstancy in its most authentic form, refusing to be seen as particular representations, and rather as pieces of art that are becoming in the present.
