My film ‘Hope is a Journey’ (2019) is the creative output of the research I undertook for my undergraduate dissertation. In the dissertation, I set out to combine my interests in drag and film to explore the ways in which they both disrupt the “categorical politics of identity and textual meaning” (Lorimer 2005: 83). My dissertation was awarded an undergraduate dissertation prize and published on the website for the History and Philosophy of Geography Research Group (HPGRG) of the Royal Geographical Society with the Institute of British Geographers (RGS-IBG).
On 8th September 2022, I have had the opportunity to present my master's research, advocating for AR as a new medium of experience for interaction installation art, at the Extended Senses Symposium organised by the University of Greenwich and University of the Creative Arts.
